Small Groups members discuss what God's Word says on a topic, and approach it through the issues and challenges of their daily lives. Members pray for one another, care for one another, and develop friendships with other growing disciples in a safe and supportive place.
Groups meet in members’ homes and usually begin with casual conversation then prayer. Groups of approximately 5-10 people meet weekly for 6 weeks during Lent to share their ideas and pose their questions regarding their relationship with God. While prayer/study are an important part of our small groups, they are not Prayer Groups, Bible Study or Adult Ed. classes. Small Groups are the place you connect with other growing disciples in a more relational and personal environment.
You don't have to be a member of St. Robert’s. Everyone is welcome! We invite you to join a group and invite your friends. No prior knowledge is necessary to participate in the discussion. There are no fees or costs.
There can Men's groups, Women's groups, teens and groups for Mixed Adults (men, women & couples). Most groups meet weeknights with a number of groups meeting on the weekend or during the day.
We’re excited to see you step into the role of Small Group Host! You’ll need to attend our training session for small group leaders to hear about the vision of our church & what we expect from you.
