Religious Education

Unleashing the Gospel for the next generation.

The Religious Education Program is a ministry devoted to faith development and grounded in the traditional teachings and practices of the Catholic Faith. It is a gradual and continuous program from grade 1 through grade 8. This ministry supports parents as the primary educators of the faith for their children and fosters a partnership between families and the whole Parish.

  • CALENDAR OF PASSPORT EVENTS

There are four categories for the Passport Journey: Devotions, Catechesis, Community, and Sacrament. The kind of stamp each event earns is in parentheses after the title. Click on a title for details. To complete their Passport Journey book, each child must receive 5 total stamps (one in each category and one in a category of their choice).
New events are added all the time, and you can reference this calendar at any time (and even subscribe to it so you get notifications of events).

Click on events to see details. And if you have questions, please call Elisa at 732-462-7429 x 134.

    Domestic Church

“Our families, our homes, are true domestic churches. They are the right place for faith to become life, and life to grow in faith.” – Pope Francis (2015)

How is the Christian family a domestic church? Through sharing the love of Jesus Christ, and reflecting the character of the universal Church – one, holy, catholic, and apostolic – in even the most ordinary activities of family life. At Saint Robert Bellarmine we are committed to supporting our families in becoming and growing as domestic churches. As Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14)
